Coach David

A program director and multi-sport athlete, Coach David brings a disciplined and competitive approach to NGA. A former varsity basketball player and football standout in Alabama, he earned MVP honors as a running back and went on to play Division I football. Over the past several years, he has been actively involved in the AAU basketball space as a parent, gaining firsthand insight into player development and team dynamics. Coach David integrates toughness, conditioning, and performance-based agility into basketball training to help athletes compete at a higher level.

Coach Ed

A High Point High and Frostburg State alumni, he ranks 3rd all-time in rebounds and blocks, scoring 1,041 career points. Professionally, starred in Armenia, Ecuador, and Spain, earning Defensive Player of the Year and a championship. Experienced youth coach, known for skill development and competitive excellence.

Coach Dave

A Bowie State University standout from 2016–2020, he scored over 1,000 career points, won the 2017 CIAA Men’s Championship, and earned All-Rookie honors. Known for consistent improvement, strong shooting, and defense, he also brings coaching experience from youth basketball leagues, mentoring young athletes in fundamentals and teamwork.

Coach Demonte

A DMV native, he played four years at James Hubert Blake High, then competed at Cloud County CC and Division I Indiana State University. Bringing leadership, experience, and a player-first mindset, he is dedicated to developing skilled, confident athletes on and off the court.

Coach Joe

Coach Joe is the head coach of the Next Gen Force Wood Acres Tigers. CoachJoe is a lifelong multi-sport athlete (basketball, football, baseball, and tennis) with a strength and conditioning focus. Known for his passion, communication, and ability to bring out the best in young athletes, Coach Joe believes in holding players to the highest standards while inspiring them to think big, embrace challenges, and pursue excellence both on and off the court. Under his leadership, the Tigers have won multiple championships and have placed in the Top 6 at national-level tournaments.

Coach Mike

Coach Mike is an assistant coach for the Next Gen Force Wood Acres Tigers. A standout three-sport varsity athlete in soccer, basketball, and lacrosse, he earned All-County honors in soccer and lacrosse and captained the nation’s No. 2 ranked soccer team. Mike has coached youth basketball and lacrosse for several years and is passionate about developing young athletes through teamwork, effort, fundamentals, and accountability.

Coach Ramzi

Coach Ramzi is an assistant coach for the Next Gen Force Wood Acres Tigers. A former multi-sport athlete in basketball, tennis, and track, he brings a well-rounded perspective to player development. Coach Ramzi believes success on game day is built through intentional, high-intensity practice, where habits are formed, confidence is developed, and teams are forged. He emphasizes that every player has a vital role in winning through hustle, rebounding, defense, passing, screen-setting, and communication. Beyond the game, he uses basketball to develop mental toughness, teamwork, goal setting, and personal accountability.
